CAN PLACING 90% OF THE MOBILE TECHNOLOGY ON SPEECH RECOGNITION BE A GOOD TURNOUT?

The number of mobile phones existing at present is trillions and trillions owned by billions and billions of people. The mode and applications put on mobile phones are transforming and improving gradually. One factor that has caught my attention on the mobile industry is the Speech Recognition.

Speech being an important factor in oral communication has been implemented in the mobile technology, although, it is still a complex problem to manifest up until now.

Speech recognition is the translation of spoken words into text. Certain mobile devices have the ability to do this function. There are technologies that are speaker-independent, that do not require any training, and those that are speaker-dependent (require training).

Literally, in real life, man (not animals or plants) is the one with the ability to translate spoken words into written through his intelligence. But then again, specialists are trying to create living from non-living. Over years, they have tried to invent machines that can acquire the intelligence of a man (artificial intelligence). Mobile device being a machine as well, it is being trained to have certain intelligence, in other words follow human made rules. The success on that is perceived in few types like smartphones.

With speech recognition, the mobile device can recognize the identity of who is speaking. Its accuracy still varies due to different factors. Not all mobile devices have the same functionality and certain speeches can have close similarity which brings inconsistency. Through years, speech recognition has not only benefited the development of technology but also the people who are disabled. For those who are deaf, they can access spoken information into written format using the mobile devices, although, another technique has lived over the years; sign language.

All in all, speech recognition has not fully impacted with a bang! For authentication, there are still contradictions with voice detections on identifying the right user and its poor usage on certain areas like recording ones voice to use it for sabotage.

Yet again, it is amusing in the entertainment department, where users interconnect with their games through speech instead of clicking and pressing buttons. But that is me; there is the good sense of it and the bad sense. I leave it to you to visualize it!

MY ONLY POINT AT ISSUE IS:
Can placing 90% of the mobile technology on speech recognition be a good turnout?

MOOTOOLS

Justly, I have not accomplished my full study on Mootools, let alone practiced it yet. It is a new thing but at the end of all the sessions it will get into me fully.
It is an interesting framework, different from the Netbeans and Eclipse I am used to. It is a compact JavaScript framework.
If you have an idea of JavaScript or JQuery then you may get attached to Mootools. It is object-oriented; it consists of a library of class object instantiation, utility functions, add-ons and Fx used to animate elements.
It is a framework used to create fully published web applications. It has browser compatibility with Safari, Opera, Chrome and others.
It has a number of applications; calls several content slides on one page (MooSlide), provides an image gallery (MooFlow), helps in creation of simple tab navigation (MooTabs) and creates sorted tables (MooTable).
Optimistically, as I go on learning about Mootools, you will join me.
It might get more interesting. :-)
 “Learning is a continuous process.”
See you next session…

THE MOBILE APPLICATION

The programmer’s made dish!
A dish consisting of a number of different features and services together!
It not only has made life intricately exhilarating but also expanded the IT technology worldwide. The mobile has been a successful device used to bring IT development.
It is accessible to many and also through its continuous evolution it gets improved progressively. Through its excellence, mobile application has merged various factors that maintain a large percentage of our daily living.
It has brought a makeover in the mode of financial management by allowing payment transferring services. It has become an effective platform for advertising; both corporate and promotional applications.
By all manner of means, it has boosted the social networking, blogging and communication applications. Mobile application makes its mark in games, entertainment and other leisure applications.
It is through this application that certain services get to be a short distance away like medical and educational services. When in the past, it was like reaching for the moon.It has come to be part of every programming system and currently the “most exceptional thing” in the IT world. Whatever idea that is brought out, mobile application is considered.
Even the economy can make the most out of mobile application; since a large rate of population is accessible to the mobile devices. Mobile application cannot be muzzled.
It is on the move to higher merit. As for the end users, we lie in wait for other better services and for the genius programmers, with our awesome skills we still have the thirst to crack other harder nuts (problems). The Quench is only felt when work pays off.
Mobile application is the new working revelation; the music to everyone’s ears.

MY EXPERIENCE WITH NETBEANS

Hitting the nail on the head, Netbeans is the best!
At first, I wouldn’t agree to it. Reason? I can’t tell it now since I have been taken with it.
I was first trained with JCreator but it was as hard as nails. The moment I was introduced to Netbeans, I stuck to it on the nail. Nothing more, nothing less.
I understand Java more and faster with Netbeans. Using it is a better nap hand than JCreator. There is a good chance for higher success even for a beginner.
With Netbeans, creating classes is easy due to the built GUI interfaces. Connection to the database and installation is uncomplicated. In Netbeans, first impression is the best impression.
There is nothing to it. It is very straightforward, fast, easy, and powerful and reduces work drastically.
Netbeans has various versions 7.1, 7.0, 6.9 and 6.8. It evolves continuously. It is easy to understand thus there is no wastage of time in getting along with your work.
But for every good side, there is an ugly one. Netbeans cannot integrate a class from another project to the working project. A project has related classes; different classes of different projects cannot be incorporated together.
Netbeans and Eclipse are neck and neck. However, eclipse has had its recommendation in android application, which leaves Netbeans a clear route to come to be an efficient IDE for Java.
Now then, if Netbeans is not a good existing IDE for java, then I don’t know what is and for the beginners, you should go for it!!
